I got that email earlier today also. A 40 dollar barrel sounds awesome, but they are only 70 dollars to begin with so I'll pass.

I guess I could see it if you were building a super-low-cost beater AR, but you get what you pay for. I’ve never had any Bear Creek stuff personally, but they get terrible reviews all over the internet.
