Made a pilgrimage.

We made the 3.5 hour pilgrimage today for my sons 10th birthday to Smoky Mountain Knifeworks. He got to pick out his very own first pocket knife. After a lot of looking and holding we finally decided on the Spyderco Ambitious. It was a fun but long day.

Well done, and happy double digits to your son! We usually visit SMKW everytime we visit Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Hard to beat a Spyderco. One of my favorite EDC's is a Manix 2 G10.

I just bought an all black cheap Spyderco Tenacious and love it. I know it doesn't have the best steel in the blade but for a cheap EDC knife it works just fine. Love the feel of it also.
