We were going to move to LA (lower Alabama) but changed our minds. Yep motivation is key.

my problem is I dislike indoor ranges(especially around N. Henry/Clayton co) .. My family has 50 acres nearby but it's wrapped in subdivisions. I do have a berm to shoot into and shoot some there but kinda scared because if there were ever a ricochet.. well you know how atlanta is now with the ambulance chasing lawyers. in the 80-90s I shot there most every weekend other than deer season.

Have you checked out Griffin Gun Club? It’s pretty close to me and I’ve been thinking about going over to see it.

Some good folks over there. I actually joined then Covid hit and the range was restricted, never shot there. When my membership came back up I had moved two hours away.
