Mags per pistol?

I believe in having lots of mags, same as ammo. As a result, I honestly don't know how many mags I have for my handguns, and that's a good thing. I will have to dig them all out and make a count. Hopefully I can remember all the places I've stashed them.

Several times throughout the year I will buy an extra mag or two just because, and almost every time I am in a sporting goods store, I buy a p mag or two. They are there, they are inexpensive, and I like having them.

I do not forget what it was like not being able to buy them. It sucks.

I would say 5 or 6 for handgun & 10 for a semi auto sporting rifle

I keep 4 per pistol, (2 w/EDC and 2 in vehicle). I rotate ammo bimonthly. 7 per with my carbine,4 AICS for my bolt gun.

When I have a chance to buy one more, why the hell not.

10 mags per rifle and 5 mags per pistol.
10,000 rounds of ammo per caliber. Minimum.
22LR 20,000 round minimum.

I doubt it. I think most of us were self-censoring. I have a couple three magazines around here somewhere.

How many mags per pistol do you like to keep on hand? Or does it matter with use, say if you carry one more than another?

I carry (1) spare mag per gun. My SHTF Beretta 92, I carry 6-7 Mags for handgun. 8 Mags per rifle. The usual Combat Load.
