Mahindra Jeep, I drove one today.

Passing thru LaGrange today, passed the Marine dealer and spied one of these in the flesh.

Several base models, and 3 LE models, which have added a top, 8k winch, light bar, and mirrors.

5 speed 4 cylinder turbo diesel. Off road only (for now)

All the attach points for doors, windshield, hard top.

Roger informed me they have a governor wire, believe 58 is all it will do, remove wire and 92 mph.

Rollover score is 40 which is good compared to a 4 for a Razer.

He has all the stuff needed including a re title for $1800 or so to make it road legal.

$16kish for base, 18kish for LE. Sold his OD color one today. 4 sold in last 2 weeks or so.

Rode like a short wheelbase does, SOFT clutch. Wider turn radius. In and out of large grassy ditch, second gear up to 23 mph. 2wd, 4hi and 4lo.

Had a greasy grin on me the whole time.

2yr parts and labor, no mileage limit.

No backseat, rhino lined tub.

It's very smart packaging/marketing. They've priced it at the top of the UTV market, and I think they'll sell a ton of them.

It was several thousand less than one of the the Razers sitting next to it.

Yes on the LED light bar.

Rear has turn signals, front does not.

I don’t see how they can make it road legal with a title and license plate

It won’t meet any safety regs
Or fed emission regs


Be pretty easy to buy an old rusted pile of Jeep with a title or registration and VIN and use that on the mahindra
Since it looks enough like a CJ7 that the revenue collection officers wouldn’t notice

Our company just got one for the farm, our dealer told us with a slow moving vehicle sign they're legal for farm use on road... governed to 45mph and considered a utv. Has a 4 cylinder diesel and does great off road in the mud. We paid a little over 14k @ Yamaha of Byron.

How do you put it in 4 wheel? Do you have to get out and lock the hubs like the old ones?
