Seriously Dingo, i hope and pray it never comes to this and I don't think it will. Sometimes i wonder what I'd do if America totally collapses as a free country, of course I'd stay and try and right the ship. But where would I send my wife and children to move to? ... New Zealand and Australia are probably the best options for my family right now.

I believe you are right. However, NZ is bat sheet crazy socialist at the moment and we have an election in May probably, our conservatives are hopeless trying to be socialist lite so what the future holds the Lord only knows. However, we have a new strong Christian PM, I wish he was stronger but if he can win the election he will toughen up. Our advantage is that we are an island and a long way from anywhere so if Europe begins to fall attitudes will change here pretty fast.
