thats odd they didn't catch that at the meps physical.. when he got sworn in.. did something happen between him getting his physical done and just before he left for boot?

Im Telling ya'll... they take the blood sample at MEPS and it takes a while to process.

ahh... I see. I had to do some googleing on hep a vs b vs c. I didn't know hepatitis was a disqualifier though.
Everything and anything is a disqualifier.....I met and talked to his Sr DI Saturday. He told me my son was a good kid. He helped motivated those who needed it and followed orders flawlessly...He told me when he pulled my son from class and told him he was being dropped all my son heard was drop so he did and waited for the command to start doing push ups.

with the sequester and the downsizing everyone is getting put out
to be honest i am not liking where our military is heading, it is becoming watered down and less about commitment and more about just a job
thats why im glad to be out. he sounds like a great guy and something even better will be out there for him
