I love my Marlin 444 Ported guide gun..Surprised at how little it kicks..

Mine is ported too but those 300gr Rem. JHP's I got kick pretty hard. I've never shot the .444 though, mine is a .45-70, I thought they would be about the same but then again I haven't seen a .444 shell to compare to a .45-70
I shoot the 265 flat and poly Hornady rounds, now I load my own.
I want to try out some of those Buffalo Bore 405gr cast solids. Those are supposed to be some sho nuff bad boys. I'm gonna get my son to shoot it first though, watch his reaction to it. Lol
May have to meet, and let you try out my puppy!!
I would love to but I'm out of commision for the next couple of months, I broke my right leg pretty bad and had surgery to put a steel plate in it. Still trying to recover enough to start physical therapy and get to walking again. Crutches SUCK! Lol
