Item Description: Hey odt, i’m trying to find a stock for my Dad’s old .22 so I can pass it to his great grandson. Willing to buy a working rifle or one with issues as long as the stock is ok.

She’s a tube-fed Marlin model 99a, I’m pretty sure that even the broken stock isn’t original but I found a pic of the original on google.

thanks much!

I have a Marlin model 99M1. Ot has a different stock. Your stock looks to be what’s on a model 60. eBay has had some lately. More than likely all you will find is a birch stock. Haven’t seen a walnut one in years. Boyd’s and several others offer a walnut stock.

As stated above, Boyd’s has new walnut stocks ready for installation. You can find all kinds of stocks on eBay to fit the model 60.
If you do go to eBay look closely at the trigger housing cut out. This area will be where things changed over the years.
