I use a medium light spinning reel with 10 lb braided with 8 lb fluoro leader. No weght. Flip next to grass and watch your line for a bite

I live up this way and work almost right on the lake , I see it an Allatoona every day, its windy here now and very overcast , if you go fish slower the water is getting colder by the day

40 degrees, but no wind. One johnboat putting in now. Feel free to pm me anytime about conditions. Just have to walk to the end of my drive.
