Mean Gun Owners Suck !

I understand and appreciate what you're saying but won't go so far to say that a gun is a gun.

High points, sigmas, whatever ... I don't care ... I love ALL guns but here's the thing .... a glock or a sig or an hk, with very few exceptions go bang every single time, chamber a new round every single time, eject it reliably every single time ... and without "proper breakin time" it's not just about going bang it's about all of those other things

I still own high points and sigmas and for the most part they are reliable but I can understand why people would poo-poo them ... they are built out of pop tabs and paper clips .... but at the same time I understand that most of the people that do talk badly about them do it because they aren't very good shooters (the people not the guns) both guns are very, very accurate but the people that aren't very good shooters say that they aren't because they aren't good enough to adapt to the mushy or long pulling triggers and still hit the target.

So I tied a long tail on it but in summation I would never trust one with my life but a highpoint is fine for shooting at paper as a hobby.

I have a hard time understanding the position that some people here like to take when it comes to being a Gun-Snob. I constantly see people trashing Hi Point, Sigma, & Taurus ( & a few others). Often without ever having spent any real range time with said brand, just regurgitating the same crap we've all heard before. But let's be honest, we've all seen the
pics of the exploding Glock floating around the 'net, & we've heard as much about Kimber, HK, Walther, & Colt.

Bottom line; every gun enthusiast can't afford to pony up $600+ while still paying bills mortgage rent, etc. Also, it really shouldn't matter if the gun goes bang everytime you tell it to. I personally have owned lower tier inexpensive guns & pricey pieces. In the end the only advantage to the pricey guns was the resale/trade value.

I'd welcome any additional input...

only problem with the highpoint I had was heeeaaavy 9mm was like a colt 44 mag auto dirty harry carried ive got a glock now that consitantly want reload but a lot of what the gun gets blamed for is the ammo's fault I had a 380 bullet stick at the end of the barrel half in half out

My, son who has been shooting since he was 10yrs old, fits this category. He, always complains that I need to buy better guns. I have 2 Modified Sagia 12g, 2-AK-47's and 2 AR-15's, numerous Berrettas, and Smith n Wesson revolvers. When, we Go to the Gun stores or big gun shows he picks out the most expensive AR'-15's, with so much Crap on it that it looks like a Space Gun. He, wants me to buy a Kriss Victor because it looks cool. I told him to buy it for me for Christmas, if he does it goes on ODT the next day. Well, he just moved out of my house, and has his own place. I want to see what he buys now that his rent, utilities, car payment, etc...
