Meeting a boar when you only have birdshots

If she'd actually hit the hog with one of those shots, it would be dead or gravely wounded. At under 10 yds, no need to cut a shell, as the shot is still together in a nearly solid mass.

Of course, when things are happening that fast, shots are difficult to make! Good on her for defending herself...time to buy another barrel!

How the hell would I know? It’s in Italian. Just sharing a tip that might be useful IF one were to find themselves in a similar situation BUT also having time to cut said shell...

For information only, that is not even Italian. It is 'sardo', the dialect spoken Sardegna. I could not understand a single word (Italian is my first language), and I tried really hard . But the pig looked confused too.
