I hate clicking on an ad on GON, only to find out it hasn't timed out.

I knew nothing of gon until people here share links from there, checked it out dont like how it is set up, but when reading rules I saw the members benefits and thought that was a good idea, and could help get more bang for my buck

True, but if you have a subscription to their magazine you get the extra benefit of having 1 hour to see ads before anyone else, so they charge here and supporters don't really get anything more than non supporters

I doubt they receive 1/20 The traffic seen here. Some of the older members know how they treat people over there, and hasn't always been free.

I scan over the GON ads, but the communication there is worse than here.
The GON just ain't what it used to be.

and a mag subscription is how much? Either way you gonna pay someone

Not sure I'd like that. If I post an ad I wan't everyone to see it, not just supporters. We have plenty of good folks here who aren't supporters. And as much traffic and posts as this site gets, a new post/ad can be buried within 15 minutes and it wont get seen unless it gets bumped back up.
