Cooked some Ribs on the Egg for the game this weekend. The best ribs I’ve ever made.

I'm curious if there is a way to set the sensor to kick the blower on to raise the temp back if it reaches a certain low to avoid the large drops in temp. Or does it work that you set the temp you want and it decides on its own when to kick on?

Those drops are me opening the grill to baste the ribs. It’s crazy how much the temp changes from having the grill open 30-45 seconds.

Duh that makes perfect sense!

Here’s a Boston Butt I did and only opened the grill once to wrap it in foil. It really holds the temp nicely and gives me peace of mind when doing other things I’m not constantly checking the grill. And if i want to check it i can just look at my phone.
