metal detector question

So several months ago while shooting I had a four inch square ar500 plate swing off and into some tall grass and brush. Its now all died down but I can not find the plate anywhere. I was wondering If a medal detector would work to find it? The only reason I thought it might not is because Ive shot there for a while and there is a good bit of lead and other metal. Thanks for any help

Yes, you can tune our all non ferrous metals and adjust sensitivity for large items.

Yes should be able to find it no problem.
