...what if the bad guy uses a revolver? There may not be spent casings laying at the scene of a crime.

Gun rights groups await judge's ruling on California's 'microstamping' law

Microstamping technology is designed to leave a telltale indentation in the very center of the shell casing when the gun is fired.

What IF the gun was STOLEN!!!!

(which is illegal so doubtful that could ever happen....)

Won't do a damn bit of good until every Harbor Freight file in the country is rounded up and destroyed. Oh- and rocks too. It is really easy to deface metal if you're so inclined.

Anyone who has a tiny understanding of how this works knows its a crock of ****

Even the supporters of this know it wont reduce crime, they are liars

Jeez guys-- have you just heard about this?

It's trivial to change or deface a firing pin.

Much scarier-- you can go to a range and pick up random brass to seed your crime scene. Then the cops come after YOU.

Only a California democrat could come up with something this stupid.

Why do you have to give criminals ideas, clearly no one else has thought of the way to get around this
