Microtech Porn!?!?

That’s freaking cute. I want to see all the animals on her outfit (kimono?)

Great minds carry alike. :) Yes, that's condensation on the rear slide serrations. Pulled the G45 straight out of my recently acquired Tier 1 Axis slim holster (thanks again @godawgs90) to take the pic.

Just pulled the trigger on an axis slim. Man, that hurt the ol pocketbook. Hope it is as epic as you make it sound lol.

What pistol did you buy for?

I can honestly say that T1C makes the only AIWB holster that I've been able to wear daily and be as comfortable as one could expect to be doing so. They are not cheap but I can personally attest to the fact that the one I've had for nearly a year (worn literally every day) shows no signs of wear and works/looks as good as day one. I just got a second one in a trade for my G45 with a inforce light about a week ago and it's exactly the same in build quality and fit and finish. While the G45, extra mag and light is substantially larger and heavier it wears almost the same as my P365.

Once you get used to having easy access to your pistol regardless of the situation (sitting, driving, standing at a urinal) you won't want to carry any other way. Especially once you start working on your draw. Way faster and easier also for weapon retention if needed.

Naturally, your physical build and commitment to carrying AIWB play a big part in the situation but the T1C holsters are top notch gear. I hope your experience is as good as mine. If not, at least it'll hold some value over most holsters in trade or sell, sale, cell, sail value.

G45 w/ no light, only thing I’m running these days. Just love it.

I’ve never carried appendix with any regularity. I’ve always carried ~4:00 and been happy with it. If I do stick my IWB in appendix position I don’t hate it. I’ve been a crossbreed supertuck fan for years. I doubt appendix will be more comfortable than that, but as long as it’s not UNcomfortable then I’ll run it. Axis slim looks like the best odds of success.

I do want to switch to appendix for a few reasons. Comfort and concealment are up there. Being able to draw while seated. Also one reason is because there are more and more people and kiddos in my family and every time we have family get together there are lots of hugs (i leave my pistol in the truck if we’re at family’s house but when we all go out to eat, etc ). I’m always doing this awkward side hug to block certain family and kiddos from my 4:00 holster. They all probably think I am the worst hugger and/or don’t want to touch them. Lmao. Maybe a stupid reason but I’m gonna try it.

Not stupid at all. It shows you're aware of your weapon at all times and that's great imo. A good belt with a lot of ability to make micro adjustments will help. When you get it in it'll take some time to figure out where AIWB fits you best. When I'm running my G45 (love mine also) I have the pistol at 12:00 so the grip is pushed in and wraps for the best possible concealment. I push the holster down as deep as I can stand it to ensure the pistol's outline blends with my waistline. When I go to sit, I push the grip out just a tad and let the holster/pistol ride up some for comfort. That's what works for my build.

Good luck with it. Drawing from AIWB and reloads are absolutely faster and more efficient than any other position.

Thanks man. You rock.

I’m optimistic about it. Carrying my daughter will be much more comfortable, I think, as well. Kids get heavy and when I switch sides over to the carry side I have to carry her higher which just makes my arm more tired more quickly. Left side she can ride lower by my hip. (I don’t really have hips I’m a little dude) riding in the car, wearing a backpack etc etc will all be better, I think.
