Well I do ls swaps for a living so if I build a square body it will have an ls in it. I did an 85 Silverado for a guy this year with a lq4 6.0 and 4l80e transmission all stock. I like how it turned out.

There are obvious advantages to an LS swap, and I may consider one at some point. I've wanted build a mild performance straight six for a few years and I may start collecting parts and get the motor together before I find a truck. I'll be using Clifford performance parts.
