So, am I the only one to break a Microtech knife? I chipped the tip of the blade and now it won't retract/open. Does anyone know if they can repair this or have experience with this?

OTF I assume? I moved to an LUDT and then an Auto socom for those reasons. I hated when my ultra tech would only half deploy.
Yes, OTF. It's been my favorite knife for years and hate to have to spend the money on a new one right now.
Go on their website. If the main spring is messed up they’ll fix it for you. If it’s just dirty take the glass breaker out and get some lighter fluid and wash it out. Blow it out with compressed air and put a drop or two of rem oil down her.
Or you can contact Microtech and they can repair it, usually for free. I’ve experienced both of those issues with separate knives over the years.
Get in touch with them. Send it in. They'll fix it.
