MIL vs MOA

Roger that. I saw 5.7 & 5.8 figures. The Spuhr mount is 6 mils / 20.6 MOA.

The Spuhr mount is fantastic. Like them a lot.

As with all parts, there are always acceptable tolerances. One 20MOA mount give you 5.7mils and another identical mount from the same company may give you 5.8mils.

Purely mathematically, 20MOA = 5.92mils. 20 X .296 = 5.92

Gotcha. I'm looking at the Spuhr and the Geissele. Probably wait for the next Geissele sale and pick one up then.

Regarding the 18" SPR, how feasible is it to get good hits out past 800 yds with something like Mk262? It looks like the bullet starts to go transonic around the 800 mark.

I've done it, and had students do it, out to 1,000yds.
