Military Surplus Dried up?

Most of the military surplus I have bought over the last few years came from sportsmans guide. And some of the best stuff I bought isn't even U.S. mil surplus. Them Germans and Swedes and Israelis have some good stuff too!

But I ain't touching these!! https://www.sportsmansguide.com/pro...y-surplus-cotton-briefs-10-pack-new?a=1923640

I like some of the foreign surplus too, and that's really where its at these days. I have found more American stuff at flea markets and garage sales in these past few years than anywhere else. The foreign stuff is the way to go.

So you are saying we should split a 10 pack of those Spanish man drawers? :)

So, about four years ago I was able to go on Gregslisedt and search "military surplus" and all kinds of goodies would come up. At one point I was able to get 10 really good condition 3 day US Army packs, mag pouches, canteens etc(all for cheap). Not so much anymore. Did I just look into all that kind of stuff at a good time, or have all you crazy preppers bought it all?

A guy I found years back had a storage unit filled to the top with awesomeness. I should have bought the whole thing.

I was seeing allot of surplus at the gun shows about two years ago, but now not so much. I just cleaned one of my storage areas in my house, man I have allot of stuff, had to pay my son to document all my gear. It came out to 10 deployment bags full of gear, like canteens, chemical gear, boots, uniforms Field jackets, etc.

You can have my share.LOL

When I get to the point that I need surplus spanish draws please put me out of my misery!
But I did buy 2 surplus German army packs from there a few years ago that I take everywhere. The packs are large enough for 3 or 4 days so they make the Savannah, Nashville, New Orleans runs a few times a year. I think I paid something like $17 bucks a piece and they are canvas and waterproof with straps. Sign up for their email alerts, decent stuff flows through there occasionally.

I will definitely do that.

CTD still offers East German raindrop pattern AK mag pouches for around $3 each, and I have bought quite a few over the years, but since they are on my **** list, no more...They are thick canvas and high quality made, though. Very excellent value at $3...What a shame CTD has them.

I feel the same way. They seemed to always have good stuff.
