I find myself in need of a chainsaw. I want a Stihl and Ace is supposed to carry them.

I go to Ace...looks like only Craftsman at this one. Kid walks up, "Can I help you find anything?"

"Y'all carry Stihl chainsaws?"

*Deer in headlights look*

"You mean like STEEL chainsaw blades???"

Well damn. I would call around to local hardware shops before traveling then.

I hear ya. Local Ace is a full stocked Stihl dealer and we actually had a smart kid that knew and serviced the Stihl line well. Used to talk to him a lot and told him his mechanical aptitude, and desire could be used elsewhere for a lot more money. He eventually listened and moved on.
