Millennium Stands - Chain lock or Ratchet?

I finally broke down and bought a couple of the M150 hang on stands for this upcoming season. My question now is attaching them. It looks like Millennium has an awesome quick mount thing, but they offer it in both chain and a ratchet strap.

For those of you who use them, which do you prefer and why? These will be permanent stands for the season on private property with no threat of someone stealing them.

I've got climbers to use if I want to go somewhere different throughout the property.

I was going to put another strap on it too, not just the one in the receiver. I do that with all my lock ons just for peace of mind.

X2 on the chain and yes, do add a strap to secure the stand as well.

I have both and prefer the chain. I like the chain best. But i do run an extra strap as well for safety. The first few years i had the chain i left it on the tree for a few seasons. kept taking the strap and actual stand down. after 2 or 3 seasons the tree grew into my chain. I had to cut it and replace it to free the bracket from that tree.
