By all rights a smarter fella than myself would’ve sold or traded-off these Ruger mini 14/30 rifles after the Clinton assault rifle band law Sunsetted (Praise the Lord Jesus) back in 2004-5..

..because floodgates of low-cost A.R. 15s , Steyr AUG’s, HK’s (and many many others) came back onto the market after a 10 year freeze, and their prices dropped down to incredible lows

BTW.. none y’all mentioned my 4th Ruger down from the top, lol 😝

I got into them a few decades ago, I like their ego’s and they’re cool for plinking but nowadays I think they’re too expensive and don’t yield dividends near as well as the as a less expensive AR 15 platform does. Oh, have you ever tried to replace a barrel on a mini 14? Yeah, good luck with that.
