Mini mill

Anyone try and mill some slots in slides etc with an upgraded HF mini mill? Or are you just using them to drill holes?
I've been thinking about turning some 1911's to bobtail, and doing some slide work, (remove some of the extra stuff on top CZ slides).

You might want to look at the high torque models from little machine shop to cut slots but i bet the HF unit could do it on occasion. I routinely open up the ejection port on 1911 slides with mine. I also cut the hood on match barrels with mine

just get a full size mill and be done with it. my index 645 is a few years older than me but is still a fantastic machine.

It only took a year and a half but I finally ended up with a mini mill. Now to acquire collets and few other odds and ends
