Minors carrying handgun in vehicle in GA - real world

I purchased my first handgun at 19 years of age from someone on armslist (and was a member on here, actually told me about this site) who understood the laws. I was 100% honest with him about my age and my intentions for the handgun and the deal was smooth. A minor can not have a firearm in the car unless transporting it from home to range as far as I can remember. However an adult 18+ under 21 should have no problem carrying in a vehicle by law.

As far as I know my Daughter is not "supposed" to be packing a handgun until she turns 21? I hope someone knows different

She cannot carry one on her person (except in very limited circumstances). If she is 18 years of age, and not otherwise disqualified from possessing a firearm, she can have one anywhere in her automobile. On her person, under the seat, in a console, etc. There are GA. rules, and should not be extrapolated to other states.
