That's because there is no repercussion for them saying "I'll take it" If that was upheld it's up to them to make the deal work

Why is that even a thing? You have no idea if 10 people already sent a PM. There's a reason the rules say that it's not a deal until confirmed in PM by both parties.

Nope. That’s why I really like this page’s defined terms. Place/date/terms. Otherwise it’s not a done deal.

Yep. Having reviewed hundreds of "deals", folks here would be surprised at what some consider a "fair" meet. "I'll take it" doesn't mean squat.

Honesty crazy that the expectation is the seller should meet somewhere not local to them. Ads have a location on them, if you aren’t willing to drive to that location you should just move on.

I'm on many other sites, they're not the ODT; the rules there are different. If you're on ODT, the trading rules here apply.

No. The vast majority of other sites are predicated on all items being shipped. There is no place/time to meet needed or to be accounted for by both parties.

The real problem is that ODT doesn't respect the "I'll take it "policy on other forums once you say "I'll take it in Comments and you're the first one it's yours and if that doesn't happen Seller or Buyer gets negative feedback.

How would one know if someone sent a PM saying they would take it first? If one is so petty and childish as to actually start trouble over it, that individual should roll on..
