As long as I can remember, there've been threads here where someone said, "I'll take it!" and before a meeting time/place can be set, some other "member who lives closer" winds up buying the widget. Lives closer = higher bid.

I've had more than I want to remember disappear before my eyes. You learn early It's not a done deal until it's in your hands and if it falls through, no big deal.

I am fixing to make a post that happened to me last week while I was still banned but the guy contacted me through private message of another member and I agreed to his asking price agreed to the meeting place I was on my way to the location and the guy calls me and tells me someone offered him more money I get it I understand somebody else wanted it really bad and I have no problem with that been there done that but the principal is where the problem lies with me

Don't feel so bad. Been here a while and still happens every day. This happened a couple of weeks ago. Another long timer, but very low participation member, was selling/trading something. We agreed on a trade. We both couldn't make the meeting point due to time the next day, so said member said he will get back to me within a couple of days to arrange another meeting place and time. Crickets. I see the gun marked sold, and his feedback goes up 1. I reach out to him, and he says, "Sorry, I forgot to let you know, I just sold the gun". Said member is now a lowlife scumbag douchenozzle in my books.

You and I have had some dealings and we worked them out , All ended well. But two except more money than the current deal, me personally would call the first guy and say hey man there’s an opportunity for you someone else offered me this? Do you want to match his offer.

What is gonna be interesting is will the Odt member who offered more money admit to it I am going to put it out there and see
