I was you I'd turn it over to a law enforcement
agency along with the info from your FFL.
They can check it out and determine if you
can keep it or not instead of you risking charge
of possession of stolen property. Good luck

I think the same, rifle is in the hands of Law Enforcement.
FFL was the stolen property owner you should have met law enforcement at the establishment and had them refund your purchase for a hot gun that THEY could have run through the database liability was all on them
