Right. I was looking forward to the TV series based on the movie "Shooter", then read how all the main characters were changed (to be PC trendy?). No watchee.

Yep. Irene Kennedy. Found him then ended up Director of the CIA. In the book she's a blonde but then again his girlfriend dies in a commercial plane blown up by terrorist. That's too much for mainstream America though. A little realism in the war with terrorist...

Yeah, no digital copies. You'd be forced to read an actual bound book like an animal.

I pictured Hurley more like the guy that played Swearingen on Deadwood. Can't remember or think of his name.

Another good series is the Cotton malone series by Steve berry. Lots of historical intrigue mixed with action and politics. Really neat stuff actually. looking back in history there are so many legends and mysteries.
