Don’t you need a license to process meat? I would look into the laws before you start doing it to prevent not getting in trouble!

I use a high quality vacuum sealer as of now.
I do plan on getting a chamber sealer tho for next season, especially if I get people that want/need their deer processed.

I think if you set it up right you will do very well. I wish you the best with it.
I bought my wife an Avid Armor chamber sealer for Xmas. I doubt we will use the food saver much anymore.

I got one. I have everything to do pretty much anything you could want.
Also thinking about doing hogs as well.
I use to raise hogs, and butcher and process them each year growing up.

Next season I'll have it to where I can pull up on sight, clean, process, and package all right there on the spot. Guys would see the quality in product they would get first hand, and I feel like it would be beneficial to a lot of people and even clubs to offer that. They wouldn't need to even handle the deer much, just drag it to main camp or grounds that are easily accessible and level.
Ill offer to come into clubs if wanted/needed, and do a clubs or groups deal.
No power needed, as I will supply everything to get it done.

Keep in mind you’ll need separate certification/license and be inspected by the GDA to process hogs.
Certainly do able but a lot of more hoops to jump through and money to invest.
Personally I don’t think it’s worth the trouble unless you want to work year round then it makes sense.

Yeah that's why I have never offered it.
Honestly I will most likely just stick to doing hogs for family and friends privately, and just focus on doing deer.
Hopefully I'll keep busy just doing deer anyways, especially being that it's not gonna be a full time thing.
