Morels, finally!

What are they good for?

Eat em!!!! They go great in pastas and well with just about any meat or veggie. I cook them into a cream sauce and eat it over chicken or steak. Or over some Alfredo!!!

lol I gotcha, well now is prime time to look for morels. Ground has gotten warm and we have been getting a little bit of rain. Especially now that the weather has gotten beautiful! As for specific time you can go in the morning or afternoon doesn't matter lol!

that's what I was thinking! I'm researching these chantrells also. so those appear in similar places as morels then.. huh? hope I can score some morels.. I found a good spot that meets the criteria so fingers are crossed!

What are they good for?

Morels are a delicacy that my family always goes nuts over. they're hard to find and once you find a spot, it's likely they come back to that same spot each year. The big thing with those is to sauté in butter and eat 'em.. theyre amazing. Sometimes you can find them in farmers markets and value is anywhere from 20-40/lb if you can find them..
