Mosin Nigant Scope Mount

Have 1918 Russian Mosin, the rear site mount is brazed to the receiver. Can't seem to locate a scope mount for it without doing modifications to the rifle. Any help would be appreciated.

My advice to you would be to shoot it and make sure you like it and that it's as accurate as you would like before you invest any time or money into it. I have learned the hard way that mosins are not the most accurate rifles

I've had the exact opposite experiance. However I found you need to shoot old surplus ammo to get the most out of the rifle. They don't like "modern" ammo for some reason in my experiance.

Yes there are more accurate rifles out there, but if you do you're part they aren't horrible either
