Mossberg forend tool needed to borrow

I had a barrel nut on an 870 that wouldn't break loose no matter what I tried; WD-40, Break-Free, applied heat, put it in the freezer overnight, used one of the flat wrenches and it just twisted.
I ended up building a wrench using a short piece of conduit that would fit in the tube, put a bolt through up top for a handle and ran a piece of threaded rod through a hole drilled near the bottom. It looks like the wrench in your bottom picture just uglier.
I never broke that barrel nut loose but the wrench works on both my other 870s.
