Just purchased one.
Took it out shooting.
Here's the problem,
Failure to eject spent shells.
Factory recommends 2 3/4" ( 15/16 oz.) to 3"( 1 1/4 oz.) shells.
I've tried 2 3/4" 7/8 oz.and 2 3/4" 1 oz. shells.Neither would eject, some would get caught halfway out the ejection port.Mossberg said to try different shells that I cannot find ( dove season ) or clean the gun.Its brand new ,should not have to clean.Any suggestions ?
Thank You.

May just need to shoot more to "break it in". I had a few isssues with my CZ-920 when I first got it. After 3 or 4 boxes of shells, it was fine and I've had no problems since. Also, some new guns do need a good cleaning even though they are "new".

Sounds like recoil rather than gas operated. Recoil operated shotguns are very ammo sensitive. And, yes, you must clean a new gun before using it.

Get some heavy duck loads and see how it shoots. It needs breaking in.

New guns should be stripped, cleaned and oiled before shooting!!! Oh and what those guys said, heavier loads will break it in.

Problem solved.Cleaned, and found some high brass.Works fine.

New guns have sharp edges on moving parts and burs. It helps to clean, lubricate well and fire them. Once broken in, clean and lubricated try the low brass again. You will likely be pleasently surprised.
