with Blade Show coming soon and on of the knives I want being there I'm glong back and forth on if I should get it. Probably going to be $350+ which I think is crazy for a knife when I could invest that money into something gun related. So how much have you ever spent on a knife and do you feel as it was worth it? I know some custom knives and OTF automatics like the Microtechs are really pricey too but at the end of the day they are just knives, sometime I'd lose before I lost a gun.

Gonna try to make the show!! Don't know how far or long I will be able to..I want to get another auto open..Mine is just about ready to retire..As far as how much will I spend? I'll let you know when I get back. I will bring a crying towel, just in case.

I have spent $350 on a knife but it was for my Dad...He gave me one that had to cost $500 or more...That is the most I have ever spent and usually won't go more $200. A knife can only do so much and there are some dang good knives to be had for the $200-$300 range. I'm different than most guys, though. Simple is best, and less is more. I like bone and stag handled hunting knives, Kabar and Camillus military knives, bayonets, Case pocket knives, Buck, almost anything American especially vintage, etc..I plan on picking up a quality Bowie next weekend at Blade. I love nice Bowie's too.
