My girl needs her leathers shortened a bit. Its pretty thick cow leather and shin guards need to be trimmed to fit. Anybody know anyone locally that can do this? The normal way would be to remove the whole panel and replace with correct size. Given its not a high stressed area , Im confident someone experienced with leather work could do it.

Might try a shoe repair place. They should have the heavy duty sewing machines to handle it. Just a thought.
Back in the day had a 2-pc Dianese and the zipper broke. I called and the good folks at YKK sent me a zipper for free. Found a leather shop to install it but dude said don't come back again. He had a devil of a time installing it. So many years ago I don't remember the shop's name...
