Typically if a MD requires shims, they come with them and likely a half setup thing of rocksett.
If yours came with crush washer, should be a straight forward, easy install. I have installed two of those strike industries MD (one on a. Lot gun and one on an AR). Very straight forward and easy to time.
I am sure the other is as well. I believe they use a 3/4 wrench/crows foot to install.
