Dont worry guys, I'm not getting Magpul Furniture on it! I meant like picking up a used set of plum or black Arsenal furniture or something, and then refinish the current wood on it with a nice all matching red-ish color.

Lol I like the magpul handgaurds, though ugly, the heat shielding in them is pretty effective in my experience. I like their pistol grips too. I don't like their stocks though.

The only mags koreans made well are the AK mags .

90% of my AKs have their original country’s wood furniture on them. Just my preference for traditional setups. Many countries wood upper & Lower handguards (Bulgarian 74) did not match, so don’t sweat yours being different. Also if you get Polymer furniture know that the American versions and Russian/Bulgarian polymer stocks are very similar, although the Russian/Bulgarian stocks use flatheads screws and USA/KVAR/Arsenal come with metric hex or star head screws & usually have USA marked on them. Here are a couple different setups on some of mine. If you need any help feel free to PM me. I have the AK specific tools, hydraulic press and AK parts & resources.
