The beauty of AKs is that they are solid state and I like to keep them that way. The market has really exploded with some high quality offerings for the AK and that is awesome. Personally, Ive got several thousand rounds thru this MAK90 with a Magpul Zhukov stock and it's served me well. I do like the adjustable LOP bc I like the option of being able to train with my plate carrier.
An old school US Palm grip is something that I keep around bc I love them. I hear they are back in business.

Ballistol is a terrific product,so much so,I wish they made air freshener that smells like it.....LOL!!!!In all seriousness,if you leave your bore a little wet with it after cleaning,it will pull fouling out of your lands and grooves.Just run a clean patch thru it before shooting again,and you are guaranteed a pristine bore.Removes copper and lead fouling without having to use those caustic cleaners that can damage wood,glass,and plastics.Cleans,preserves,lubes,and removes metal fouling all in one product.Great stuff,and the best part,is you dont have to use it full strength to be effective.Shoot all the corrosive primers you desire in your AK collection.Instantly neutralizes primer salts without the hot water baths.Did I mention I liked this product?
