Im not sure this is the right section, but it's food related so i thought it appropriate, if not, mods please move.


Iv always wanted to build myself a nice smoker, so this is a little project I started last week and wanted to share with the ODT brothers. So this is my trailer mounted reverse flow offset smoker, and it's my first full build so please have mercy.
it's probably going to be a slow process, but I'm going to post pics as I make progress. I'm making this up as I go and dont have any prints. Open to ideas to improve it.

Start with a 75 gallon 1949 "3/16 thick cold stamped horizontal tank.

This is what the trailer started off as lol.....

I figured this was plenty of trailer for such a small smoker.
I got it home and cleaned up...should be the perfect.
going to cut the sides off and sandblast be it gets painted GA RED! the bottom of the trailer is 1/4" steel i may ad another piece to the front for a little extra area
