16 years ago I adopted this 4. Month old cat from a pound in Ohio where we lived at the time I had a 9 year old son and a infant daughter at the time but the pound was overfilled and she was due to be put down that day
She has been a awesome cat only sick one time a year ago respiratory infection
Then this past April it started
Urine in blood
Crystals in urine
Bacteria infection
And we had thought it had all cleared up
Numerous vet appointments and meds
She was eating great and she still was weighing in at 11lbs (13-14 in her younger days )
Monday she was meowing real loud while using her litter pan
Took to vet. Said kidney stones
She went home Tuesday as she was to old for surgery
And yesterday she started vomiting uncontrollable and urine was just leaking out
Ghost cat was put down today she went very peacefully
I have never done this before
Please I ask that you say a prayer for my kids
My 16 year old daughter doesn’t know life without ghost cat
And my son had me hold up the phone since he’s stationed in alsaka to tell her goodbye and how much he loved her and what a great cat she is
A lot of tears today. We all know she isn’t suffering anymore but this is painful
