I use an LED trailer light setup using a motorcycle battery for juice and a solar panel to recharge by day, all mounted to or contained by an ammo box. Unfortunately he did not come anywhere near it that night.

Did not weight him but he was a fair bit larger than my buddy in the foreground, and he is in the 235-245 range. Contrary to what folks have said about larger boars, he tasted great.

Yeah it is hit or miss with the taste on big boars.

I like green for pigs and red for predators like yotes - something about the color spectrums they see if I recall correctly. Or nightvision for both.

The 358 is definitely a thumper, I see as a magnum version of the 35Rem which is one of my favorites. I don't know why it never caught on any better.
