My first paint job what do you think?

Thanks guys. One of the reasons I wanted to paint was also the fact that since this was a build from scratch, the upper, lower and handguard were all slightly different shades of dull black. I actually just did the upper in matte black with no accent, but now it all matches and looks complete.

I have my eye on doing another one of mine now. What have I done!!?? 😎

Another good option is an airbrush and Duracoat. Great do it yourself option that will last longer than the rattlecan option.

Agree. I've used Duracoat and an airbrush several times. With the right surface prep and cleaning it's a really tough coating. They also sell Duraheat in spray cans which require parts baking like Cerakote.
