A very long time ago I purchased my first rifle at about this time it was shortly after my 14th or 15th birthday.
The few things I've kept throughout the past 40 + years.
I wanted to give my wife something special for our first Valentine's together and I put together a 10/22 for her assembled out of a variety of parts but that included my original stock.
I have found out in the past couple of years she is not real fond of dark colored wood, no pun intended, so I we did hers in a nice blond tone finish.
The old stock had a few bumps and bruises from being in the safe and I recently resurrected at and am revisiting my teenage years...
I know a lot of you guys have your first rifle oh, this one was purchased with my own money at a hardware store in Humble Texas...
The reassembly and modifications will follow there are some parts I'm just not going to use.
