It's a semi auto 9mm pistol got it from country boy sports. Maybe sub gun wasn't the correct term I don't know.

Yeah, "subgun" is a well-established term for submachine gun. A short full-auto weapon that fires pistol-caliber rounds.

Which brings up a good question:
What IS a good handy term for a braced pistol that looks like an SMG or an SBR (short barreled rifle) but is neither of those?
