Yeah, it does seem sketchy. I just simply do not care though. I won't do business with him after his OP anyways so it's no skin off my back either way. I doubt if he was a felon he would be posting about owning a gun, much less walking down the street with one.

Whatever trips your trigger. Walking down the highway is bad enough, but if your just looking for a reaction why not just carry a 22?

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Pretty stupid if you ask me. I OC my pistol daily. The only reason to carry a rifle in public is to stir **** up.

It may be his right ...but it's the wrong that could follow that could have him dead. Police confront him and he makes a wrong move and he's shot. Couple hoodlums decide to jump him and take the rifle, mayhbe they shoot him maybe not. Anyway you look at it...it's inviting trouble. Isn't that why we have CCW permits for us law abiding citizens. I'm new here and don't want to make any enemys...just expressing my view.

We don't have CCW's in Georgia. We have GWL's.

While I'd never do it and I think it's a bad idea I won't tell anyone not to carry a rifle. It's a pretty dumb idea and doing it without a sling is just asking for trouble. I'm sorry but if you think walking down the road with a mosin at port arms is a good idea I'd rather you not have a GWL...

A rifle slung on your shoulder is a statement. A rifle in your hands gives the impression you're about to use it.

i know if I saw someone carrying a rifle in their hands down the road towards town I might be inclined to draw my EDC first and ask questions later if you came within 30 ft of me or my family.
