My first time OC

Didn't see any section for this type of thread. I don't know where most of you guys sit on Conceal Carry vs Open Carry, but I did my first OC. First, no I don't have a GWL. My weapon of choice was my Mosin 91/30. No sling so I held it the whole time. I was walking from my house to the store about 10-15 minute walk. I was walking down the highway and got a few honks, couldn't tell if they were positive or negative. I didn't encounter any police what so ever. In the store I got asked if I was hunting. Other than that no real meltdowns like I see on YouTube. Next time I will carry a different rifle.

other than recording cops reactions and trying to instigate a incident, there is no reason for all that. go get you permit and carry a pistol. although i would love to see a self-defense case on the news involving a mosin lol!

What for is a silly question. The same reason you got a GWL and there are police riding around. I didn't record anything. I just been looking at other people in other area's and what they go through trying to exercise their rights. No one in Georgia has posted any video's about their experiences. Not saying I want to get noticed or anything. Just people in different area's view things differently. I stay on the border of three counties so I was in three counties at once... Also, I'm not eligible for any license's, and there is a guy that got stopped while carrying a Mosin....

I dont think that is such a good idea. OCing a pistol is a lot different than carrying a full length rifle around in your hands without a sling. Was there ammo in it?
