My gf's deer mount

I went today and picked up my girlfriend's deer mount from this past season. I was surprised to get a text on Wednesday of this week that it was ready to be picked up.

She shot this buck on the second weekend of November last year and I'm picking it up before June? I love my taxidermist. Shoutout to Shannon Little of Little's Taxidermy in Cordele, GA. Great guy, does great work, and gets it done quick. It amazes me how quick he is able to get it done with how many he has to do.

Now if I could just get my girlfriend to stop shooting stuff that deserves to be mounted. We are running out of wall space and now she has her own wall of bucks she has shot. Not to mention the fact this is her third and it's bigger than anything I've killed in 30 years of deer hunting.

Nice mount! The gf is definitely a keeper. Sounds like you need to add on or buy a bigger house.

Dang, I was kinda annoyed my guy went up from 600 to 700 this past year. 850 is just a rip off.

Everything is a rip off anymore. Last time I got one mounted it was $400 something I think. First one was $100 something

My buddy got a Turkey last year it was 1600 with the base —-ridiculous

Great looking mount! Congratulations to both of you.
I have a good friend who still does mine for $350 and his work is phenomenal. He only mounts heads for a select few.
I don’t mount very many at that price anyways, most of mine get a skull mount or I cut the rack off nowadays.
I’m about to the point that I’m not gonna shoot them unless they are shoulder mount worthy.
