What a wonderful day the two of you had!!! Congrats to your Son and to you also dad..You taught him to shoot, hunt, dress out cut up and pack for the freezer..Then to top it off right on the grill with back strap wrapped in bacon..Mighty fine Memories for a life time..Quality time is precious!!

Thanks for the comments guys! He is tickled pink. Ill do a nice european mount for him on a plaque with his picture on it. I worry constantly about my kids especially with the way this world is going but having a kid interested in hunting and good country music I think ive got him on the right track.

My little man did it this evening. 7 years old and made a perfect shot with ol dad’s 25-06 on his first deer! We got him home and skinned him out. While I was wrapping the meat up outside he went inside to watch his tablet. When I came inside he had A country boy can survive playing on the Alexa speaker. I couldn’t be more proud of him! We got bacon wrapped backstrap on the grill tonight!

Proud daddy right there! Congrats little man.
